While Marvel fans were still excited, Marvel’s Avengers game, which came out 1 year after the Avengers: Endgame movie, created a great expectation, but with its release, it disappointed everyone due to its gameplay and story.
The developer of the game, Crystal Dynamics, announced that they will cut support for the game with their latest announcement and that the game will be removed from official sales. Let’s take a look at the dates and details together.
The last official update of the game will be shared in March.
On March 31, the game’s version 2.8 update will be released and there will be no more updates to the game. Crystal Dynamics also stated that it will close the game’s cosmetics store, turning players’ remaining balances in their accounts into in-game resources.
But premium cosmetics won’t become unobtainable because Crystal Dynamics says they’ll give every player their all. Every Outfit, Finish Animation, Emote and Nameplate, Challenge Cards and Shipments in the cosmetic store will be free for everyone starting March 31.
Players will continue to be supported until September 30, but there will be no new updates and access to multiplayer mode. After September 30, the game will be removed from stores and cannot be purchased.
If you own the game through Game Pass, all of the events we mentioned above apply there as well. What are you thinking? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
