Amazon, which has gained many new users in recent months with Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, has come to the fore with another big news today. The company announced that it has “ordered” for series focusing on Marvel characters within Sony Pictures.
According to the details shared by Amazon, the first of these series will be Silk: Spider Society, which is about Cindy Moon. Cindy Moon was a Korean woman who was bitten by the same spider as Peter Parker in the Marvel universe. The superhero name was ‘Silk’.

The new Marvel series, which will be released on Amazon, will be directed by Angela Kang, the developer of The Walking Dead, according to the first details shared. The series will be produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, producers of Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Former Sony Pictures President Amy Pascal will also serve as executive producer on the series.
The series will tell the story of our heroine’s escape from prison in search of her family and learning to master her skills to become Silk.

Amazon and Sony have not yet shared any information about the release date of the series. But the series is MGM Plus in the US; It has been announced that it will be broadcast worldwide under Prime Video.
