The first major impact of the long-running screenwriter strikes in Hollywood was on Sony. Sony’s animated series Spider-Man: In the Spider-Verse, the second movie in the animated series, came out more recently, but the studio has started work on the third movie in the series and even has a release date.

The company also shot the movie Kraven the Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, in October. Apart from the delays, the release dates of two important movies such as Venom 3 and Bad Boys 4 have also been announced: Both are coming on June 14, 2024.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse was the biggest project hit by the writer’s strike, as it will be part of a series that is loved by many and is highly profitable. Sony had to remove the movie from the release schedule, as the actors of the movie could not yet voice their voices.
