After the $114 million attack, Mango Markets offered to refund users with different tokens.
The platform will issue a refund using a snapshot of the balances one hour before the hacker made the first deposit on October 11 at 6:19 PM.
Mango Markets Announces Payment Plan
Mango Markets offered its payment plan to users via Discord. The DAO will have 72 hours to vote after the proposal is published.
Avraham Eisenberg, the person behind the attack, claimed that he did nothing illegal. The community voted to allow Eisenberg to retain $47 million under the error bounty and return $67 million.
It continues to experience attacks one after another in October. According to data from Chainalysis, 11 different attacks took place this month, totaling $718 million.
Daffy Duriraj, the co-founder of the platform, said in a statement on the Discord channel that their first goal is to minimize the difference between the tokens users had before the attack and the tokens they will receive.
The funds will be converted to USDC by reviewing the snapshots. Users will be paid later.
Duriraj stated that these tokens will be paid out last, as the MANGO token fell by 50% after the attack.
