The smart scarf has a special sensor called EmotiBit that measures the body’s biophysical parameters. This biosensor placed on the neck will help monitor the physiological and emotional impact of the team’s game on the fans.
Will be available next season
Connected Scarf will be able to measure the wearer’s data such as heart rate, oxygen saturation, hydration level, body temperature and motor activity. Thanks to the smart scarf, Manchester City analysts will have the opportunity to observe the stress or enthusiasm of the fans.
Connected Scarf will only be available to a limited number of Manchester City fans next season. However, it is not yet known whether the smart scarf will be put on sale as a product that can be purchased by everyone. The accessory will also be distributed to some fans of New York City FC, which is part of the City Football Group.
