MagSafe Battery Pack portable charging station, which is among Apple’s first MagSafe accessories but criticized by users for its low energy transfer, received its highly anticipated update.

The MagSafe Battery Pack charging station also had a 5W energy rating, as it was produced during the times when Apple limited wireless charging transfer to 5W. Later, the limit was changed and its scope was expanded up to 15W. The MagSafe Battery Pack also needed an update.
How did the idea for Apple Silicon come about?
With the latest software update, MagSafe Battery Pack can now reach 7.5W. This means a 50 percent increase. iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 owners can now enjoy slightly faster wireless charging. As soon as you connect the accessory to your phone, the update will begin. Users can check whether the accessory has been upgraded to version 2.7.b.0 from Settings.
