Apple says that new MacBook Air or Mac Studio users can quickly log in to Apple accounts by bringing their iPhone or iPads closer to Mac after updating MacOS Sequoia 15.4. This will simplify the process of transferring the user’s files, photos, messages, passwords and more to the new Mac.
Apple will keep this feature specifically for new Macs or to offer all Macs that receive the MacOS 15.4 update. Users will also need to update iOS devices (iOS 18.4 / iPados 18.4) to use this feature.
