Technology giant Apple has attracted a lot of attention with the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models equipped with M1 processors, which it introduced last year. Apart from great performance, products with ProMotion display, HDMI and SD inputs had become an important option for customers looking for high performance. With the company’s introduction of the standard M2 processor in the past months, the eyes were turned to the M2 Pro and M2 Max. The 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro, which will be equipped with these chipsets, was expected to be updated before the end of the year, but it seems that Apple has changed this plan.

May be introduced in February or March

Mark Gurman, known for his sources close to Apple, talked about the M2 MacBook Pro family in his last article. According to Gurman, Apple will introduce the next-generation 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models in the first quarter of 2023. Gurman stated in the past months that these devices will be introduced before the end of the year, but apparently the plans have changed within the company. It is stated that the mentioned devices will be introduced with macOS 13.3 in February or March.

An event that confirms the claims emerged at Apple’s latest earnings report meeting. At the meeting, CEO Tim Cook stated that the product range was completed before the holiday period. In 2023, apart from the MacBook Pro with the M2 processor, there is a possibility that we will see the new Mac mini, iMac, Mac Studio and Mac Pro. In addition, the company is expected to introduce the 15-inch MacBook Air model in 2023.
