Introducing the new M2 Pro and M2 Max processor Macbook Pros by surprise to its users last month, Apple announced that it brought Windows 11 virtualization support to all Macbook models with M1 and M2 processors in the past weeks.
After the new Macbook Pros, we can see Macbooks with M3 processors much earlier than expected, according to the claims that emerged as the eyes were turned to the new Macbook and Macbook Air models.
It could be introduced at this year’s WWDC
9To5Mac and Bloomberg writer Mark Gurman claimed that Apple has been working on Macbook and Macbook Air models with M3 processors for a while, according to information they obtained from a joint source.
According to the data in the leaked documents, Macbooks with M3 processors will have 8-core and 16-core models, just like M2 processors. In addition, according to some information in the documents, Apple continues to work on the Macbook Pro with the M3 processor and the iPad with the M3 processor and OLED screen. However, the company’s main focus right now is on the next-generation Macbook and MacBook Air.
According to Mark Gurman, Apple will introduce the new M3 processor Macbooks and Macbook Pros, which are expected to be introduced in mid-2024, at WWDC23, which is expected to be held in June this year. However, the introduction of the Macbook Pro and iPad with M3 processors may be delayed to the end of the year or even to the first quarter of 2024.
While a significant increase in the prices of the Macbook and Macbook Air models, which will be offered in two sizes as 13 and 15 inches, is not expected, the exact plans of the technology giant from Cupertino for these devices remain a mystery for now.
