Apple introduced the M1 Pro and M1 Max processors at the event it held yesterday. We are here with the content of 13 inch M1 MacBook Pro vs 14 inch M1 Pro MacBook Pro vs 16 inch M1 Max MacBook Pro.
Entering the laptop market with an ARM-based processor, Apple broke new ground in both performance and power consumption. The company, which managed to win the appreciation of many people with the M1 processor introduced on November 10, 2020, presented the new M1 processor family to users yesterday.
M1 MacBook Pro vs M1 Pro MacBook Pro vs M1 Max MacBook Pro
All three models were produced with 5nm technology. The MacBook Pro model with the M1 processor has an octa-core CPU. CPU cores have been increased to 10 in MacBook Pro models with M1 Pro and M1 Max processors.
In the number of GPU cores, the M1 MacBook Pro model has 8 cores, the M1 Pro MacBook Pro model has 16 cores and the M1 Max MacBook Pro model has 32 cores. For operations such as graphics and video rendering, the MacBook Pro with the M1 Max processor sets itself apart from other devices.
While Apple introduced 16 GB memory support in the M1 processor introduced last year, this year they announced that they will offer 32 GB support in the M1 Pro processor and 64 GB in the M1 Max processor. While the company offers 68 Gbps in memory bandwidth with the M1 processor, it has increased it approximately 3 times to 200 Gbps in the M1 Pro, and increased it 6 times to 400 Gbps in the M1 Max.
Neural Engine, specially produced by Apple for artificial intelligence processes, can perform 11 trillion operations per second on all three processors. There are 16 billion transistors in the M1 processor, 33.7 billion in the M1 Pro processor, and 57 billion in the M1 Max processor.
MacBook Pro models with M1 Pro and M1 Max processors have Media engine that supports ProRes and ProRes RAW technologies. Unfortunately, the Media engine is not available on the MacBook Pro model with the M1 processor.
MacBook Pro with 13-inch M1 processor starts from 14,299 TL, MacBook Pro with 14-inch M1 Pro processor starts from 23,499 TL, and 16-inch M1 Max MacBook Pro starts from 28,999 TL.
