Huawei introduced sports car running its own operating system

Huawei executive Richard Yu shared the first clues about the all-electric car model of the company’s Zhixuan automotive division. This vehicle, which has the HarmonyOS 4 operating system, marks an important milestone not only for the company but also for the automobile industry.

Promising that the design language of the new car will be groundbreaking and offer an experience that stretches the imagination, the manager stated that the production model will be revealed at the end of this quarter. It is also stated that the name ‘LUXEED’ on the front of the car characterizes the new brand within Huawei.

Experts believe the Luxeed brand may have been the result of a collaboration between Huawei and Chery, a leading Chinese automaker. It is claimed that this name, which is thought to have emerged with the combination of the words “Luxury and Exceed”, symbolizes Exceed, a sub-brand of Chery.

Huawei has been in the auto industry for a long time. The company had previously partnered with the Arcfox brand of Chinese JAC and BAIC. Now, with this sports car, which is probably the result of a partnership with Chery, Huawei seems to want to prove its place in the automotive world.

Huawei is taking firm steps towards creating a complete ecosystem by developing the HarmonyOS operating system day by day. So what do you think about Huawei and its work in the automotive industry? Don’t forget to share your views with us in the comments section!
