Lord of the Rings Anime Release Date Announced

The Lord of the Rings universe is on the agenda with a series that will be brought back to the screens recently. The series titled ‘Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power’, which will be published next September, will meet with its audience on Amazon Prime Video. In the past days, the trailer of the series, where the first photos came, was also released.

Apart from the highly anticipated series, although it is the subject of discussion, there is also an anime set in the Lord of the Rings universe. We don’t have much information about the anime called ‘Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim’, which was announced last June. However, we know that Kenji Kamiyama, the director of ‘Blade Runner: Black Lotus’ and ‘Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex’, sits in the director’s chair.

Anime is coming in 2024

New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. The new Lord of the Rings anime, which will come in partnership with Animation, will meet with the audience in 2024. The announced release date is April 12.

‘Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim’, adapted from JRR Tolkien’s books and set approximately 200 years before the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series we watched in cinemas, will tell the story of Helm Hammerhand, the king of Rohan. The anime will also focus on the story of the construction of Helm’s Deep fort, where the epic battle scene we watched in the movie ‘Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers’ took place.
