Liverpool, one of the oldest football clubs in England, has announced that it will launch its first NFT collection. The club’s NFT collection, named LFC Heroes Club, will go on sale today.
The legends of football became superheroes with the LFC Heroes Club collection consisting of legendary athletes. The superhero versions of the club’s legendary names, 24 people, will be on sale. It will be on sale for 3 days between 30 March-1 April as Legendary Edition and Hero Edition in 2 separate categories.
Liverpool’s charity LFC Foundation is preparing to sell the NFTs of its people under the name ‘LFC Foundation Heroes’. In the statement made by the club, it was stated that the personnel are also seen as heroes;
“Each foundation hero has his or her own superpowers of leadership, resilience and empathy, which they relentlessly use for the needy youth and families in Liverpool.”
The club also released a promotional video titled “Welcome to LFC Heroes Club”.
