According to the latest on-chain data, the famous cryptocurrency platform selling major cryptocurrencies such as Chainlink (LINK), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Ethereum (ETH) has made an acquisition. Here are the latest movements in Voyager Digital wallets, the brokerage platform for cryptocurrencies, which filed for bankruptcy last year…

Voyager Digital sold LINK, ETH and SHIB

Blockchain intelligence firm Arkham Intelligence cited the acquisition and sale of Voyager Digital in its most recent tweet. Embattled crypto broker platform Voyager Digital is selling cryptocurrencies at a fast rate, according to the firm. Arkham’s Blockchain transaction data shows that Voyager transferred at least $54 million in cryptocurrencies to Coinbase and Binance.US exchanges last week, possibly selling tokens. According to data from Arkham, it has transferred at least $24.7 million in Ethereum (ETH), $12.2 million in Shiba Inu (SHIB) and $2.5 million in Chainlink (LINK) to exchanges in the past seven days.

Total deposits of the crypto broker on exchanges have totaled $121 million since the beginning of February. Transaction data also shows that Voyager has acquired approximately $150 million in Circle-backed USDC stablecoins from Coinbase in the past four days. According to Arkham, this is likely derived from cryptocurrency sales. As we have also reported as Kriptokoin.com, Voyager has stopped all trading at the moment.

Voyager filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US in July. As part of the court proceedings, he agreed to sell himself to Binance.US after an auction. But the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is investigating Voyager’s VGX token as an unregistered securities offering. The crypto broker’s latest maneuver could herald selling pressure for cryptocurrencies, especially ETH and SHIB, which are among the firm’s biggest assets.

Voyager has a large amount of USDC

Arkham data shows Voyager’s largest cryptocurrencies other than stablecoins have 166,223 ETH worth $271 million, 6.2 trillion SHIB worth $77 million, and 148.4 million VGX tokens worth $63 million. Other notable assets include $13 million in LINK, $5.5 million in Phantom (FTM) and $5 million in ApeCoin (APE). According to Arkham, Voyager cryptocurrency addresses hold a total of $697 million worth of cryptocurrencies, including $236 million USDC stablecoins. As it is known, USDC is a cryptocurrency pegged to the US dollar.
