In F1 25, the EA announced that it has benefited from Lidar technology for modeling of runways. This technology allows to transfer real world tracks to the game with high resolution 3D scans. This system, which autonomous vehicles used to detect their environment, allows the re -creation of the runways on a one -to -one scale.
The tracks are now more detailed
Although EA does not touch much about the details of the use of LIDAR, it is known that this technology allows the finest details to be reflected more precisely from the slopes on the tracks to the surface tissues. This is actually important for F1 enthusiasts because the transfer of bumps and slopes on some tracks such as Monaco is important in terms of realism. There is even a historical story of the bumps on some tracks.

The F1 25 will be released on May 30 at a price of $ 60 for PC, PlayStation 5 and $ 70 for the Xbox Series X/S. The Iconic Edition version is $ 80 on the PC and 90 dollars on consoles. This version will soon be released by Apple and will include additional Bracing Point sections connected to the F1 film, starring Brad Pitt.
