In the past months, Rockstar and Remedy announced that they will work together for the remake of the legendary game series Max Payne, released in 2001, and that they will develop a remake that will cover the first two games of the series. The remake, which will include Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, was met with great joy by the fans of the game. In fact, the fans were so happy that Remedy’s site crashed.

A YouTube channel called TeaserPlay redesigned Max Payne with Unreal Engine 5 and shared the promotional video on its account. Describing how the game will be presented to the fans with Unreal Engine 5, the channel received great appreciation and positive comments from the players with its concept trailer. In the trailer that looks pretty good, the game seems to have high-end graphics features such as Nanite, Screen Space Ray Tracing and Global Illumination.

The character in the game was inspired by Max Payne’s movie characters.

In the concept trailer of the game developed with Unreal Engine 5, the main character wanders around the classic and well-known places of Max Payne. In addition, TeaserPlay announced that while designing the character, it was inspired by the mix of Sam Lake and James McCaffrey, who played Max Payne in the movies.

Of course, this is just a fan concept and not an official trailer for the remake. However, this video gives an impression of what the beloved game might look like if it met with gamers right now. As previously announced, the remake to be developed by Rockstar and Remedy will run Remedy on its own game engine. Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes are currently in concept development and are scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. No statement was made on when the game will be available to game lovers.
