Apple will introduce the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models in a few months. The upcoming features and design changes have been rumored for nearly a year, and now there’s another clear leak of what the iPhone 15 Pro might look like.

Previously, claims have been made that the iPhone 15 Pro will have a unified volume button, and that all buttons will come with haptic feedback. But it later emerged that the technology was too complex for this year’s iPhone, and Apple decided to delay this design change for at least a year.

Then a new rumor surfaced that Apple would replace the volume buttons by positioning them slightly lower than the iPhone 14 Pro models and making a slightly larger button cutout due to the new USB-C port replacing the old Lightning port.

The above image, shared by an account that follows Apple leaks on Weibo and Twitter, shows us these changes. According to UnclePan on Weibo, he tried to put the 15 Pro phone case on the iPhone 14 Pro he bought, but was unsuccessful. It states that the new mute button is different and the power key is lower.

iPhone 15 rumors so far

According to analyst Ross Young, Apple will bring Dynamic Island to all iPhone 15 models. This does not mean that all versions will have Always-On display technology or ProMotion. Young believes these two features will remain exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro series.

According to other analysts, the addition of Dynamic Island to the regular models will help Apple increase sales, as the standard iPhone 14 versions sell worse than their predecessors.

TrendForce says that Apple will continue with two different chip strategies for new iPhones. While the iPhone 15 Pro will have the new A17 chip, the regular versions will continue with the A16. All new models will have 8GB of RAM. Information on storage options is still unclear, but Apple is not expected to offer more than it currently offers.
