LayerZero, a cross-chain application platform, has confirmed that it will integrate with Aptos at launch.
With the integration, it will enable the applications developed on Aptos to be cross-chain. Thus, the transfer of value between blockchains will become even easier.
LayerZero Will Integrate With Aptos Expected Late 2022
LayerZero, a cross-chain application platform, has announced that it will be integrated when Aptos is released, which is expected to be released at the end of 2022.
Aptos Labs, in a statement on Twitter, said that the security of the integration with LayerZero will further improve the user experience and pave the way for next-generation applications in Aptos. These next-generation applications are cross-chain, meaning they run on more than one Blockchain.
Aptos underlined that working across blockchains is critical for Web3 adoption. It was also added that LayerZero supports this with its emphasis on security measures and user experience.
LayerZero claimed to be over 20 of the largest Aptos apps built on the LayerZero developer network. This means that they take advantage of the possibilities of creating a compatible cross-chain application.
Aptos has received an investment of 350 million dollars this year. It is trying to attract developers from Solana, TVL’s fifth largest chain, into its network.
