Focusing on inter-blockchain interoperability, LayerZero has raised $135 million from high-profile investors such as Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Sequoia Capital and FTX.
LayerZero announced that it has received a $135 million investment. The venture has reached a valuation of $1 billion with the round led by crypto-asset trading platform FTX and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), the venture capital arm of Sequoia Capital. The tour was also accompanied by investors such as Coinbase (COIN) Ventures, PayPal (PYPL) Ventures, Tiger Global and Uniswap Labs.
The startup received an investment of 6 million dollars last September under the leadership of Multicoin Capital and Binance Labs.
