One of the Reddit users managed to install the latest Windows 11 22H2 operating system on his 12 year old Acer Aspire 7740 laptop. Yes, as you can imagine, the computer in question does not have the necessary specifications to run Windows 11, but a special software helped to circumvent this problem.The Acer Aspire 7740 includes a dual-core Intel Core i5-580M processor and no TPM 2.0 module. So it does not meet the official requirements of Windows 11. However, it is possible to circumvent these restrictions by using the right software. Reddit user took help from Rufus 3.20, which allows to bypass hardware limitations like TPM/RAM/CPU.
Rufus doesn’t listen to restrictions
As you know, Microsoft applies a number of restrictions to prevent Windows 11 from being installed on systems with low RAM and old processors that do not support TPM (Trusted Platform Module). However, you can install Windows 11 22H2 even on a very old computer using Rufus.
Last June, many old desktop and laptop users were able to install the Windows 11 22H2 preview version on their devices. Moreover, these systems did not have the TPM 2.0 module. Microsoft fixed this error very quickly, preventing the operating system from being installed on unsupported systems.
