Apple has released the fourth developer beta of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura. The Cupertino-based company has imposed restrictions on the editing and sending features of iMessage, which it introduced with iOS 16 in the new version. After the feature was announced, it became the focus of criticism by many for security reasons.

It also introduced new features that Apple plans to bring to iMessage with iOS 16, which it announced at the WWDC 2022 conference. With the new version, users would be able to undo a message up to 15 minutes after sending it. Messages could also be corrected. However, the new features have brought with them many security concerns.

After many users were worried that malicious people could abuse this feature, the tech giant introduced certain restrictions with the fourth developer beta of iOS 16. With the new version, the time for users to undo a message has been reduced from 15 minutes to 2 minutes.

The update also keeps the 15 minutes available for editing a message, but users can edit each message up to five times.
