Microsoft recently released a major update for Windows 11, numbered KB5028185. With the update in question, the software giant aimed to fix the operating system’s security vulnerabilities and improve its interaction with game peripherals, but as always, some problems arose.
Some users reported that they encountered a blue screen error while installing the update. Those suffering from this error say they were able to stop the endless reboot loop only with the help of System Restore. There were also complaints that the update was installed very slowly (up to 4 hours).
Reduces stuttering in games
In addition to all this, general poor performance, problems with USB 2 and USB 3 ports working on some motherboards, and flickering when the screen refresh rate exceeds 60 Hz were also reported. As a solution to the above problems, it is recommended to remove the patch numbered KB5028185 from the Windows Update menu.
The update also has some positive aspects: The stuttering problem in games has been fixed on systems where high responsive mice are used. Microsoft officials say that the latest update for Windows 11 aims to reduce in-game stuttering, which is a big problem for gamers who want an immersive experience.
