Apple will unveil its new products and software, especially the iPhone 15 series, on September 12. It was claimed that Apple, which did not want to have stock problems until the launch date, faced a last-minute shock. It is stated that the iPhone 15 Pro Max production process started late.
iPhone 15 Pro Max production has come to an end
According to a new report shared by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Pro Max, which will be the most powerful model in the iPhone 15 series, is facing production delays ahead of its September launch. The information shared by the production partners shows that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is late for mass production.
Earlier, Kuo said that the iPhone 15 Pro Max could arrive on the shelves 3-4 weeks late. Despite weeks of launch, production issues could not be resolved and mass production of the Pro Max came to an end. The main reason for this is the new titanium frame in the outer case.
The delay was expected to affect the iPhone 15 Pro series first. However, there were no problems for the 15 Pro. It was stated that manufacturers received “significant design changes” from Apple regarding titanium frames.
Kuo also thinks that replacing the mute button is an important factor in production. For those who don’t know, Apple wanted to switch to the solid state button instead of the physical buttons. However, he gave up on it due to production problems.
Kuo reported problems with display panels, batteries, and other components, except for the titanium frame and button. However, most of these issues are already resolved. Apple has no plans to delay the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but availability won’t be known until September.
