YouTube has decided to offer one last chance to banned content creators. Sharing videos on the video sharing platform does not need pre-approval. However, the videos you share must comply with the rules set by YouTube. With its new decision, YouTube plans to give it one last chance before closing such channels.
Training period for banned content producers whose YouTube channel has been closed
Google is preparing a new update for the YouTube Community Guidelines. In fact, there is no change in terms of community rules. Instead, YouTube seeks to create a new comeback opportunity for banned content producers whose content has been removed and their channels are at risk of being shut down.
Accordingly, the content producer whose content is removed or who receives a shutdown warning for his channel will be assigned a training on the rule he violated.
Under current rules, YouTube creators receive a 90-day warning if they break the rules. However, according to the new protocol, YouTube will remove the warning from the channel if those who receive a violation notice attend these courses. However, violating creators must refrain from posting any video that violates the same policy for 90 days.
However, YouTube did not repeal the three violation rules. A takedown decision will continue to be made for a channel that acts outside of the YouTube Community Guidelines and has received three strikes for violating the same rule.
Google, on the other hand, announced on its official blog that it is very hopeful about this new policy. Accordingly, with the training requirement for the YouTube Community Rules, the company expects that 80 percent of the closed channels will not violate the rules again.
