The famous YouTube channel carwow, which manages to take the breath of car enthusiasts every week with drag races, is here again with an interesting triple race. As his followers will remember, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Porsche and Volkswagen shared their trump cards in the five-point drag race held last week. The race, in which ambitious brands took place, was fierce.
This week’s triple drag race includes Lamborghini Performante, Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT and the surprise guest Nissan GT-R, which was included later. Although it seems easy to predict the outcome of the race even by looking at the models, it must be said that the performance of the vehicles is quite impressive. It is certain that the modified GT-R, which was included in the race later, is an ambitious competitor. But before we take a look at the race, let’s take a look at the general features of the cars.
General features of cars:
Porsche’s SUV model, the Cayenne Turbo GT, has impressive power under the hood, although it is not designed to blow the dust off the tracks. Equipped with a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the car can produce 640 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. It seems that it is not possible to intimidate the Porsche model, whose launch control system has also been modified. But one of the biggest minuses compared to its rival is its weight of 2,200 kg.
Lamborghini Performante, which is the favorite of the race even with its appearance, produces 640 horsepower and 600 Nm torque with its 5. 2 liter V10 atmospheric engine. Having the same horsepower as the Cayenne Turbo GT, the car has an advantage of 700 kg with its weight of 1,500 kg. In addition, although its yellow color does not affect its performance, it is certain that it adds a very assertive air.
The Nissan GT-R, which entered the race later, is the lowest budget of the three models, with a price of 45,000 pounds. But this is no ordinary GT-R. Thanks to the changes made on it, the GT-R, which has 700 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, is trying to take the crown of Lamborghini.
