Mivento, which provides CRM and Sales Channel Loyalty Management solutions to companies, was hacked. The personal information of Vestel, who used Mivento to reward the dealers, fell into the hands of hackers.What information was leaked?
According to the data breach notification made to the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK), the TR Identity Number, Name, Surname, e-mail address and phone number of Vestel employees were leaked. While the data of 7,560 people were leaked, it was reported that the total number of leaked records was 30,183. It was stated that people who are exposed to data leakage can request information from [email protected].
According to the notification made to the KVKK, Vestel was receiving an infrastructure service from Mivento where gift/promotion applications were managed for dealer employees. On May 24, 2023, Mivento’s servers were hacked. The cyber attack was detected on July 12, 2023.
The data leak in Mivento affected Vodafone, Toyota, Scneider Elektrik, Mais, Geberit Tesisat, Çelik Motor and Anadolu Isuzu as well as Vestel. The data of thousands of employees of these companies was leaked.
