Kraken, one of the leading crypto-asset buying platforms, has received a license to operate the crypto-asset platform in Abu Dhabi. Kraken thus became the first platform in the region to obtain a crypto license.
The development represents the latest in the crypto industry’s efforts to expand into the Middle East. As we mentioned earlier, the leading crypto asset trading platform Binance also announced that it has recently obtained a license to operate in Dubai.
