eFootball, developed by Konami, was released to the market with great disappointment. The developer company, which ended the PES series and upset its fans, almost doubled this situation with eFootball. In fact, Konami, which issued an apology message with the release of the game, even promised that the problems would be fixed.
However, things don’t seem to be going as planned. Because Konami, with the message it published, again upset its players about bug fixes. The studio has released another message to its followers requiring them to wait a little longer.
Planned update for eFootball delayed
Konami, which is on the arrows of criticism, is working hard to fix the game. The fact that the production, which is said to have been developed for 2 years, has many mistakes and cannot meet expectations in some issues, gives the studio a headache. Developed with Unreal Engine, eFootball seems to continue to have troubled days in terms of getting to the level.
Announcing that the update was delayed on Twitter, Konami apologized to its fans. The company, which did not explain when the new version with bug fixes will be released, included the following in its statement:
We would like to inform all users that we have decided to postpone the release of version 0. 9.1 to early November. We sincerely apologize for the delay and inconvenience. We hope the additional time taken allows us to ensure that the experience is improved for all of our users. We will announce the date and details of the fixes as soon as they are approved. In the meantime, we will continue to work on improving the game and we look forward to working with you on eFootball 2022.
After the sharing, which received intense reactions from the players, the reaction to the game grew. eFootball, which has high expectations especially since it has been developed for a long time, became one of the biggest disappointments of the year with its release. While wondering about the future of the game in the coming period, the number of players who gave up hope is also quite high. It looks like Konami will continue to lag behind EA and FIFA in soccer games competition. Let’s see if the studio will be able to return to its former glory. We’ll wait and see.
