Kia debuted its new logo in a record-breaking flame show in 2021, and we can now see it on all its models. However, it seems that some consumers are very confused about the new design.
For those who do not know the brand, Kia’s new logo can be perceived as consisting of the letters K and N written side by side. Twitter user @Shwinnabego says he’s noticed that Google searches for the brand “KN” have skyrocketed since the summer of 2021, when models with the new logo became more common.

Google Trends data shows that this phenomenon is not limited to the United States; People in Australia, Canada and the UK continue to search for “KN SUV,” “KN car brand price” and “KN car brand electric”.
Searches for “KN Car” reach 30,000, but that 30,000 is a no-brainer as “Kia” is already used in 1.83 million searches per month, according to a study in Tire Meets Road magazine. Looking at the search results and trend, it can also be seen that people are more interested in Kia vehicles and are searching the internet for information about them.
