Keanu Reeves, one of Hollywood’s most beloved actors, was also in the voice cast of DC’s new animated project, DC League of Super-Pets. Reeves, who voiced Batman in the production, was also asked if he wanted to portray the iconic character.

The actor, who has played charismatic characters such as Neo, Constantine and John Wick until now, stated that he might want to play Batman, but there are other players currently in that role and it is unlikely that he will take on this role anytime soon.

When asked about the subject, Reeves said, “It’s always been my dream but (Robert) Pattinson is Batman right now and he’s doing great work, so maybe in the future. Maybe when they want to try an older Batman.” replied in the form.

In fact, Reeves had come very close to playing the role of Batman before. In 1995, Batman Forever directed the series from Tim Burton to Joel Schumacher, and Michael Keaton left the role of Batman. At that time, the role of Batman was also offered to Reeves and Ethan Hawke, but both of them turned down this offer. Reeves hasn’t shy away from expressing regret for his decision ever since.

Reeves, who has already played a comic book character like Constantine, will also appear in the TV and movie adaptation of BRZRKR. The famous actor also met with Kevin Feige to talk about the possibility of taking part in Marvel productions. In other words, Reeves will appear in many different works in the future.

DC League of Super-Pets will hit theaters on July 29.
