According to the official statement made today by the crypto mining leader Kazakhstan, the activities of 106 places that are engaged in illegal crypto mining in the country have been stopped.
106 cryptocurrency mining sites voluntarily ceased their activities after being identified by the authorities, while the remaining 51 sites were sanctioned to stop working. The government suspects these 51 places are tax evasion.
It has been reported that 25 lawsuits have been filed so far for illegally working miners in Kazakhstan. As a result of the investigations, the authorities confiscated approximately 67 thousand pieces of equipment worth a total of 193 million dollars.
