Vevo, the YouTube leg of the music industry, has been subjected to a major attack in the past few days. In Vevo, which includes world-famous artists and has hundreds of millions of subscribers in total, strange music videos have been added to the YouTube channel of many famous names.
Clips of names such as Spanish swindler Paco Sanz and rapper Til Tjay on the pages of many artists, including Lil Nas X, Eminem, Drake, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Michael Jackson and Kanye West took place. The name behind this attack also showed itself in some of the videos.

Some of the videos uploaded to the hacked Vevo channels included the phrase “Hacked by @lospelaosbro (hacked by lospelaosbro)”. When the Twitter profile of the person in question was entered, it was seen that this was not the first attack. The profile also included a short video shared from Justin Bieber’s profile in May 2021.

Vevo told The Verge, “Some videos Uploaded directly to a small number of Vevo artists’ channels by an unverified source.” used the phrases. Stating that the videos are no longer available on the channels, Vevo announced that it will also review its security systems.
