The US district judge believes that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Binance US can resolve some issues together.

The judge called on the two parties to work together regarding the document problems, which have been frequently mentioned especially in recent times.

The regulator accused BAM, to which Binance.US is affiliated, of its slowness in producing documents, and tensions between the two parties have risen in recent days. Binance.US pointed out that the SEC’s demands were too burdensome.

U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Judge Zia Faruqui said:

“I need all of us to try to de-escalate, forget the past, and tell me about some problems you think you can solve.”

SEC has many demands

The SEC said it wanted to see BAM’s financial statements. General ledgers are also included in the financial statements.

BAM stated that these books will be available until an agreed date.

The regulator also requests information about the newly rebranded Binance entity Ceffu.

The next hearing between the two sides will be held on October 12.
