The company plans to allow its users to transfer cryptocurrencies.
JPMorgan Advances in the Crypto Industry
Continuing to progress rapidly in the crypto industry, the company has registered a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
The development was also endorsed by trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis.
According to Kondoudis, this wallet covers various financial services, including crypto payment transactions, management of counterparty funds for wire transfer.
The company proposed a payment system entirely with Bitcoin in 2013. In 2018, he filed a patent for a peer-to-peer payment system that would use blockchain for intrabank and interbank payments.
The largest US bank announced last month that it is exploring the idea of launching a digital wallet that would allow users to select digital identity documents for various DeFi and metaverse applications.
Although JPMorgan continues its moves in the crypto industry, the company’s CEO Jamie Dimon continues to criticize Bitcoin. Dimon has said that Bitcoin is “dirty” and “expensive”.
