JPMorgan CEO Maintains Anti-Bitcoin Stance
Speaking at the International Finance Institute meeting in Washington, Jamie Dimon stated that he would never buy a cryptocurrency, saying that Bitcoin is dirty and expensive.
The CEO of JPMorgan said that cryptocurrencies actually do nothing and do not understand why they have any value.
In his statement last year, Dimon also used negative statements about Bitcoin and said that the asset has no value.
Speaking about the US economy, Dimon said he doubted that the Fed would soften its aggressive policy. The executive also backed Powell, noting that Fed Chairman Jerome Powell was “somebody of extremely high caliber.”
Dimon thinks that the interest rate will rise above 4.5% due to higher-than-expected inflation.
The banking giant’s boss said US stocks could also drop another 30% during the ongoing market correction.
