Circle CEO thinks Web3 will go mainstream
In a statement Friday, Allaire stated that Circle is further boosting its Web3 services as its stablecoins and cryptocurrencies company introduces programmable wallets. Allaire said that this new wallet offering is just the beginning of additional web3 services that will include stablecoin-based cross-chain payments and simple smart contract development platforms in the future.
Allaire made the following statements in a post on Twitter:
Circle quietly launched its developer-friendly programmable wallets in early July. These wallets aim to provide customers with easier access to cryptocurrencies, NFTs and other digital assets.
