Japanese fintech company Kyash has received an investment of $41 million from Dorsey’s investor group, which includes payment company Block.

Tokyo-based bank Kyash received an investment of 41 million dollars. Funding came from investors like Block (formerly Square), Greyhound Capital, and Japan Post Investment Corporation. The company plans to use the fund to hire staff and collaborate more. This deal will be Block’s first investment in the Asia Pacific region.

Shinichi Takatori, general manager of Japan Post Investment Corporation, one of the investors, said in a statement on the subject:

“By reuniting financial services with technology, Kyash’s first user and mobile We believe that its philosophy and product architecture first will allow it to evolve into an important platform.”
