Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa, who was recently launched into orbit with the Soyuz spacecraft for a 12-day ‘space vacation’, seems to be having a very enjoyable time aboard the International Space Station.

The billionaire entrepreneur, who shares his moments in space and what it’s like to live in a zero-gravity environment with a 3 minutes 37 second video from his personal YouTube channel, seems to have fun playing ‘games’ in zero gravity. In the video, Maezawa also goes into detail about how strange it feels to be in a zero-gravity environment.

“I have no sense of direction because there is no gravity”

Noting that there is no sense of ground and direction in the video without gravity, Maezawa uses expressions to describe the strangeness of the event, “So whenever I hit something, I have no idea which side of my body I hit.”

This strange feeling of being in space also seems to reveal the literary and philosophical side of Maezawa. “The entire evolution of life was created in 1G gravity,” Maezawa told the videographer in the video, after his backflip. “To think that people at the top of the pyramid of life would go into space to find their roots and experience zero gravity… it’s just beyond words.”

SpaceX Crew-3 Mission specialist Matthias Maurer, who did not seem to be affected by Maezawa’s words and movements during those moments, is seen to be at his job actively right behind the floating space tourist.

Here are the moments recorded by the Japanese billionaire in zero gravity
