The local court gave its verdict on Terra (LUNA) founder Do Kwon, who was caught in Montenegro in the past months. According to the official statement made by the authorities on the internet, the crypto phenomenon received a 4-month prison sentence. The Montenegrin court did not hold Kwon responsible for crypto-related matters throughout the process. The well-known name of the crypto money world was sentenced to this punishment for using fake passports.
Speaking at the hearing last Friday, Kwon argued that he did not know that his Costa Rican passport was fake. Terraform founder, “If I had known about this situation, I would not have traveled internationally.” said.

At the recommendation of a friend, I filled out the official documents in Singapore. After the process, I traveled almost the whole world with my Costa Rican passport.
The only passport in the possession of the famous phenomenon is not limited to Costa Rica. Do Kwon also holds a Belgian passport.
Will Do Kwon Be Returned?
The Terra (LUNA) ecosystem collapsed in May of 2022. After the negative developments, the dollar-indexed UST stablecoin and LUNA price fell to the bottom. Aggrieved investors filed criminal complaints against Do Kwon in their country of residence. Kwon, who has been missing for about a year, betrayed himself in Montenegro last March.
After the arrest of the Terra founder, the two major countries competed with each other for extradition. South Korea and the United States, of which Kwon is a citizen, are asking Montenegrin authorities to extradite the crypto phenomenon.
