Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey mocked commission-free trading app Robinhood for listing Shiba Inu.
Jack Dorsey was stunned by Robinhood’s decision to add the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency, according to his latest tweet. After Dorsey’s teasing, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev asked when Twitter would introduce a tweet edit button in response.
The leading commission-free trading app has finally listed the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency on Tuesday to please the community. The price of the SHIB token rose by about 35% after the highly anticipated listing, but has since wiped out most of its gains.
Robinhood has also stepped up its Twitter game by actively engaging with the community. Tenev also posted a photo of him playing with a Shiba Inu dog and said that dogs integrate human life.
This isn’t the first time Dorsey has made fun of SHIB. In October, the billionaire also criticized cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase for promoting the Shiba Inu. Dorsey is known as a staunch Bitcoin maximalist who has repeatedly rejected the idea of adopting altcoins. Its reluctance to explore other cryptocurrencies has led to numerous disagreements with the Ethereum community.
