Dorsey chaired the company twice: from 2006 to 2008 and from 2015 to 2021. He was then replaced by Parag Agrawal. Previously, Dorsey had responded positively to Musk’s idea of buying the social network.

Agrawal and Musk can make the company a success
The businessman emphasized that Agrawal and Musk can lead Twitter to success together. However, it is still unclear who exactly will run the company after it was taken over by Musk. Dorsey, who currently heads payments company Block Inc, has a 2.4% stake in Twitter, according to Reuters.
On the other hand, some advertisers state that they hope new services and initiatives will be implemented faster after Twitter’s move to Elon Musk. There are also rumors that Musk has plans to temporarily put a Tesla executive in charge of the company.
