The latest report reveals a very interesting situation. The earlier report said there would be four Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 units without the low-power A520 cores. Today, the reports are different.
The leakster, Dimensity, claimed that the 9300 will be 10 percent faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It also gave information about CPU clock speeds. It is expected that MediaTek will choose the 1+3+4 architecture. 1×3.25GHz Cortex-X4, 3×2.85GHz Cortex-X4, 4×2.0GHz Cortex-A720.
On the other hand, Immortalis-G720 GPU is also expected. This setup is the exact opposite of the 1+5+2 setup. Also, the combination of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is normally unorthodox. However, MediaTek is trying something never seen before by removing low-power cores.
