Mercedes will carry V8 and V12 engines to the electric future!
Mercedes is developing a new V8 engine series compatible with the Euro 7 emission standards. These engines will be integrated into the AMG.EA platform to gain an electrical -supported structure. In addition, the company will continue to offer V12 engine in certain markets in ultra -luxury models such as Maybach S680.

Strategies for lower volume engines are also on the agenda. Developed with a Chinese partner, the 1.5-liter, 48V Milt-Hybrid four-cylinder engine will be used in the new Mercedes Cla.
