It has been reported that there is a predicted delay in the iPhone 15 series, which Apple will release in the coming months. According to Wamsi Mohan, global securities analyst at Bank of America, the series seems to be delayed by a few weeks.
Stating that the reason for delaying the launch of the iPhone 15 series is related to the cost, Mohan predicts that the launch will take place in October.
The series will be produced more than other series in the first place.
The series, which will be produced in 84 million units in the first year, was to meet with us in September. There are concerns that iPhone sales for the fiscal year ending September 2023 may also be lower than expected. Wamsi Mohan forecasts Apple to report September quarter revenue of $87.1 billion, below the average expectation of $91.6 billion.
This is based on the idea that the iPhone 15 series will be released in October.
However, no reason has yet been given for the postponement.
This is just a guess from Mohan. In this possible case, even if there is a delay of a few weeks, it is thought that the effects behind the scenes will not be that small.
The supply chain is known to have started for September delivery, and there are currently no reports claiming logistical reasons for a later-than-usual launch.
