Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features and performance revealed!
Thanks to Qualcomm’s agreement with Samsung, we saw last year that a special and much more performance version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor in the form of “for Galaxy” is used in Galaxy S23 models.
Today, the special Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features and performance to be used on the Galaxy S24 have emerged. The processor, which consists of 8 cores in the form of 1×3.30GHz Cortex X4, 3×3.15GHz Cortex A720, 2×2.96GHz Cortex A720 and 2×2.27GHz Cortex A520, uses Adreno 750 GPU on the graphics side.
In addition, it is stated that the system in the test results in the image above uses 8 GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system. In the Geekbench test, the plain Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 managed to score 1700 in a single core and 6,600 in a multi-core, while the version used in the S24 scored 2233 in a single core and 6661 in multiples.
At the same time, the AnTuTu v10 score of the flat version was leaked recently. It was seen that the processor reached 1771106 points in this test. However, we can say that the version developed for Samsung and later used by other brands (as in Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) will get much higher results.
