Will Apple produce a giant iPad instead of a foldable iPhone?
According to the information Mark Gurman received from within the company, Apple is researching to produce a new device with a flexible screen. Until now, folding phones had sizes like 7 inches. However, according to the allegations, Apple’s foldable iPad model will have a giant screen like 20 inches. The possibility of this new project to shelve the folding iPhone project is also among the theories.
In this sense, this giant device will appear as a 10-inch iPad when folded in half. However, Gurman announced that this device will not arrive before 2026. On the other hand, Mark Gurman also revealed some details about the giant 20-inch iPad.
Famous analyst, the giant iPad model with a folding 20-inch screen will come with a fully touch keyboard as expected. In fact, it is unclear how much of Apple’s such plans will become reality. However, Lenovo has fulfilled a similar dream with the ThinkPad X1 Fold with a folding screen.
Apple’s foldable iPhone plans have also been recently delayed. Accordingly, it is claimed that the model expected in 2023 has been postponed to 2025. However, the emergence of this date also reveals that Apple will take action for foldable devices in 2025 at the earliest.
