The Redmi Go model, released by Xiaomi in 2019, is still on sale in our country. So, is the Xiaomi Redmi Go still to be bought?

Xiaomi Redmi Go is currently available at a price of 1725 TL. In this sense, it is not difficult to say that it is an affordable budget phone, but there are of course more innovative models around. So, what are the features of Redmi Go?

Redmi Go has a screen consisting of a 5-inch IPS LCD panel. While the screen resolution is 720×1280 pixels, the screen pixel density is 296. The processor of the phone, which produces an image that is quite adequate for its class in terms of screen, has also been selected in a structure suitable for its segment.

The RAM capacity of the phone using Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 is 1 GB, while the storage options are 8 GB and 16 GB. However, the presence of microSD card support on the phone means you can expand the memory.

Xiaomi Redmi Go is a phone that will perform basic operations in terms of performance. So if you overwhelm it with too many applications, it will of course give you trouble in terms of performance. Behind this, of course, lies the use of 1 GB of RAM. But 1 GB of RAM is due to the fact that the phone is based on the Android Go operating system.

Android Go Edition appeared as a RAM-friendly operating system. While it is an attempt to provide moderate performance in basic functions and using the lite versions of applications, it is a bit annoying that the Android 8.1 version is included in the Redmi Go version. Of course, considering that this phone came out in 2019, we can take it for granted.

The phone has a 3000mAh battery. This battery promises good battery usage. Because you can provide long usage with low power consuming processor and screen.

So, how are the cameras of Redmi Go? The phone has 1 camera on the front and 1 on the back. The front camera is 5 MP, while the rear camera is 8 MP. Of course, we are now starting to see much more in this category. In that sense, it’s hard to say that Redmi Go has little attraction in this area.

Although the Xiaomi Redmi Go was one of the good entry-level phones for its time, it is now an obsolete model. Because we see that there are much better options among entry-level phones. Maybe we wouldn’t have spent what we said if the price was lower. However, when the price tag is 1725 TL, it does not deserve it. So basically, you can’t buy Redmi Go at this price anymore.
