Twitter user Ross Calvin claimed that Hoskinson formed a joint venture to buy popular media outlet CNN. Calvin made this claim on Twitter. In Calvin’s post, there was a statement that “Hoskinson is forming a joint venture to acquire CNN.” Also, Calvin asked Elon Musk if he was involved in this venture.

Responding to Calvin’s post, Hoskinson made a statement about this claim as “I cannot confirm or deny”. Hoskinson’s answer was perceived by the community as an open door.
