The Apple Vision Pro is a ‘high-end’ product in terms of hardware and functionality, but it also comes with a pretty ambitious price of $3,499 for the company’s first AR headset. However, this price is not a fixed price. Unfortunately, since one of Apple’s business strategies is to monetize the accessories for its products, there is a chance that users will have to pay more for it.

Accessories for Apple Vision Pro

It was said that Apple Vision Pro may not be compatible with every user, especially those with weaker eyesight than others will have to spend more money on prescription lenses. However, iOS developer and 9to5Mac author Benjamin Mayo recently discovered that the Apple Vision Pro headband has the letter ‘M’ printed on its fabric, suggesting it’s meant for medium heads.

He also states that there is another variant with an overhead strap that was shown during the presentation, meaning it could be another accessory that Apple will charge customers with. While the price of prescription lenses and different sized headbands isn’t mentioned, it’s worth keeping in mind that if you’re considering purchasing the Apple Vision Pro, spending $3,499 won’t be the maximum limit, as the accessories mentioned above can be added to the total amount.

However, the Vision Pro is basically a partially wireless device without a controller. However, if you have viewed our demo videos and related news, you must have seen one cable.

This cable is a battery that attaches magnetically to the head. We don’t know if this battery is included in the package of the device, but according to Apple, this iPhone-sized external battery will only give the device a 2-hour battery life. When plugged in, it’s all day use.

Apple did not reveal the capacity of the external battery it showed for the Vision Pro. Maybe it will offer options with different capacities, we don’t know. If you are not going to use the device plugged in, it does not make sense to have only one battery. At the end of the day, the announced price of $ 3,499 should be seen as a starting point.
