IQOO was founded on January 30, 2019 as a subsidiary of Chinese phone manufacturer Vivo. However, over time, the company separated from its parent organization and became completely independent. It is known as a competitor to Xiaomi even in its homeland thanks to the affordable phones it has released in recent years. The company introduced the Z5X model, which is a price-performance phone today.
Features announced for IQOO Z5X
IQOO has added a new member named Z5X to the Z5 family it has introduced before. The Z5X comes with a 6.58-inch display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, with a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch response rate of 240 Hz. It has 8 Megapixel front camera, 50 Megapixel wide angle rear camera and 2 Megapixel image sensor.
IQOO Z5X model uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 chipset, which uses 6 nm architecture technology combined with 8 GB RAM. Internal memory is available in 128 and 256 GB options. It also has a 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
The device uses a side fingerprint reader just like Sony devices and Samsung’s S10e and Xiaomi’s Note9 series. Offering dual SIM card support, the Z5X comes with a liquid cooling system in addition to Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone, which comes out of the box with Android 11, will also receive the Android 12 update.

IQOO Z5X price
The device has only been pre-ordered in China for now. However, it is expected to go on sale in many countries, especially in the Indian market, in the coming period. The sales prices announced at the launch were $235 for the 6GB Ram 128GB model, $250 for the 8GB Ram 128GB model, and $282 for the 8GB Ram 256GB model.
